Join OSM Thome as Messman on board our bulk carrier fleet trading worldwide. You will support the galley and accommodation team, helping to keep daily life on board safe, clean and well organized.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Assist the Chief Cook with food preparation and galley duties
- Set up, serve and clear away meals in the mess rooms
- Clean galley, mess rooms and pantries, including dishes and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of accommodation and common areas as assigned
- Follow hygiene, safety and environmental procedures on board
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as Messman or similar position at sea preferred
- Valid STCW certificates as required for the rank
- Good command of English for shipboard communication
- Medically fit for sea service
- Positive attitude, team player and willing to work in a multinational crew
