Our client is a Food & Beverage Trading Group, one of the largest food importers and distributors in the region with operations in Southeast Asia. Due to exciting plans to expand their business, they are seeking seasoned Buyer Executives to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur.

The New Role

1. Implements the merchandising plans, product category strategies and manages partner relationships.
2. Contributes to the development and sourcing of the products according to the budget.
3. Responsible for planning and selecting a range of products to sell in retail outlets.
4. Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and collections.
5. Analyses past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs.
6. Liaises with shop personnel to ensure product/collection supply meets demand.
