Function/Role:

Management of permanent works engineering and coordination/development of shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• The delivery of coordinated Shop Drawings for MEP elements of the project.
• Review of material submittals ensuring code and project compliance.
• Establishing clear and unambiguous standard to which his/her team is to perform.
• The resolution of conflicts using a 'best for project' approach.
• The update of weekly/monthly tracking instrument (spreadsheets) to provide actual accurate and visual representations of the engineering progress.
• Maintain the Technical folder structure and encouraging subordinates to do the same.
• From time to time the MEP coordinator will be required fill gaps of the delivery team.
• The formulation of coherent clear and concise RFI/TQs formulated to clarify elements of the design that may be unclear or ambiguous.
