We are currently seeking a*Mental Health Worker*to join our Psychiatry Inpatient. This position works 0.7 (56) hours per 2-week pay period, with 8-hour shifts, rotating days, overnights, and every other weekend.
*Purpose of this position:*Under direct supervision of nursing staff, performs work of routine difficulty in assisting in the treatment of clients in an acute care inpatient setting
*_RESPONSIBILITIES:_*
* Provides patient care to inpatients or patients in the psychiatric emergency department of HCMC under supervision of nursing staff; therapeutic 1:1, evaluates, intervenes, and reports to and works with nursing staff to follow individualized patient care plans
* Participates in planning and implementing treatment team recommendations concerning individual and group patient programming
