Position Overview
The Mental Health Lead is responsible for promoting the safety, wellbeing,and dignity of all residents within the accommodation setting. The role focuses onsafeguarding vulnerable adults and children, identifying welfare needs, responding tosafeguarding concerns, and working collaboratively with internal teams and externalstatutory agencies to ensure residents receive appropriate support.
Key Responsibilities –
Safeguarding & Protection
• Identify, respond to, and report safeguarding concerns involving children, vulnerable
adults, and adults at risk.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are recorded promptly and escalated in accordance with
organisational safeguarding procedures.
• Complete safeguarding referrals to relevant agencies including Local Authority
Safeguarding Teams, Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hubs (MASH), Social Services, and Police
where required.
