Position Overview

Job Summary:
The Medication Collection Technician (MCT) II is an advanced level position responsible for comprehensive collection, documentation, and validation of patients’ home medication histories across the continuum of care. In addition to core responsibilities, the MCT II serves as a subject matter expert, supporting quality improvement initiatives, mentoring staff, optimizing workflows, and collaborating across disciplines to enhance medication safety and clinical decision-making.
Licensure and Certification:
Current California Pharmacy Technician license required
Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPHT) preferred.
Education:
Associates degree or a technical certification in a healthcare related program or equivalent knowledge and experience preferred.
Experience:
Three (3) or more years of pharmacy technician experience required.
