Medical Technologist, Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, OH. Utilize understanding of underlying scientific principles of lab testing as well as tech, procedural & problem-solving aspects & demonstrate gen comp of factors that affect health & disease. Recognize importance of proper test selection, numerous causes of discrepant test results & deviations of test results & ethics & perform a full range of chemical, microbiologic, immunologic, hematologic & immunohematologic lab procedures. Perform waived, moderately complex & highly complex testing as defined by CLIA. Perform accurate testing recognizing abnormal or unusual results, report timely results accurately & notify appropriate parties.
