LabCorp is seeking a Technologist to join our team at Good Sam Hospital in Portland ,OR

**Work Schedule** : part-time position is scheduled for 24 hours per week, consisting of three 8-hour shifts weekly start times of 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM based on lab needs. Weekday schedule varies; includes every 3rd weekend.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
+ Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
+ Serve as a lead technologist within the Blood Bank, providing technical guidance and workflow support
+ Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
+ Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
