Position Overview
**Job Description**
The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations and procedures, renders technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment.
**Qualifications**
+ Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a college or technical school
+ 0-2 years of experience as Ultrasound Technician.
+ SPI Certification and a graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Technician program and will complete the ARDMS within one year of hire. **American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)** RVT certification must also be completed within one year of hire.
