Requirements

• An appropriate qualification that allows registration with HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in the field of Paediatrics and Child Health. Current registration with HPCSA as a specialist for 2026/2027. (Grade 1 No experience as a specialist after registration, Grade 2 A minimum of 5 years' experience as a specialist after registration, Grade 3 A minimum of 10 years appropriate experience as a specialist after registration). Competencies, knowledge and skills: Good communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and conflict management, time management, flexibility and operational planning skills. Ability to work independently, in groups and work under pressure. Clinical skill set to manage high volume patient numbers and to deliver optimal care to paediatric patients as determined by the needs of Tambo Memorial paediatric department. Be willing to work Commuted Overtime.
