A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Medical Receptionist at Glebe Medical Practice in Lesmahagow.

You will be required to work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7am and 6pm (shift patterns are 7am/8am-2.30pm/3.30pm and 10.30am-6pm bi-weekly).

Responsibilities

• Answering the telephone
• Booking appointments
• Arranging prescriptions
• Scanning documents
• Sending electronic copies of medical records
• Typing referrals
• Other general office tasks

You will provide administrative support to the GP’s as well as the Practice Manager. You must be able to work under pressure within a fast paced environment. Previous experience in a GP surgery using Vision and Docman is preferred.
