The Medical Laboratory Technologist C (MLT-C) is responsible for the assessment, implementation, planning, evaluation, and supportive application of existing and new clinical knowledge and the translation of knowledge to practice. The prime focus is to coordinate, support, maintain and deliver competency training (with a focus in Hematology) based on laboratory SOPs and policies in partnership with curriculum leads via classroom, procedural skill/task training, simulation learning, clinical learning, and/or online learning strategies, while advancing practice.
The MLT-C practices according to the Registered Health Professionals Network Act and in accordance with profession specific acts/legislation, their professional regulatory body and in accordance with Standards of Practice.
