Performs moderate and high complexity testing in some or all areas of the Laboratory, including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Serology, and Blood Bank. Medical Laboratory Technicians key responsibilities include proper patient and specimen identification, adherence to testing policies and procedures, instrument use and troubleshooting, and computer functions. Work closely with Phlebotomists, Medical Technologists, Nursing, and Physicians to provide patient care.
