**Job Description**

**University of Washington's Laboratory Medicine and Pathology department has outstanding opportunities for temporary MEDICAL LAB COURIERS.** The Medical Lab Courier is responsible for the transport of laboratory specimens, reports, supplies and other designated materials between University of Washington Medical Center and medical facilities and laboratories within Washington State.

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Works with bio hazardous specimens and adheres to Universal Precaution procedures.
+ Prepares all lab supplies needed to be delivered to client locations.
+ Drives the assigned route in appropriate amount of time.
+ Maintains accurate records of route stops and specimens transported.
+ Knowledgeable and adheres to UW Fleet Services rules and regulations.
