Position is available for medical laboratory technician in the lab of the Robeson County Health Department.
Employee in this role will carry out a variety of laboratory tests in the areas of chemistry, serology, hematology, microbiology and urinalysis. Established quality control and instrument maintenance is a part of the daily duties of the lab tech.
Routine venipuncture is also performed.
Employee will be a part of a lab team serving all programs of the department.
Education and Experience:
Associate degree in medical technology from an appropriately accredited institution or completion of a certified laboratory assistant course in medical technology or a comparable course, and one year of medical laboratory experience; or high school or General Educational Development diploma and three years of medical laboratory experience; or an equivalen...
