**Job Summary and Qualifications**

**The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)utilizesskills and training to performtest of samplesof blood,urineand other body fluids to obtain informationutilizedin diagnosis and evaluation of patient medical status. Participates in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement. Maintains cultural awarenesswhen dealing with patients, visitors, co-workersand all other customers.
