The Equipment Planner manages all equipment planning phases – Planning, Procurement, and Logistics for projects assigned by the Division Chair or Director/Section Manager. The Equipment Planner is responsible for planning and executing all arrangements for and ensures the timely, safe, and cost-effective design, vendor quoting, quote validation, order requisitioning, shipping/delivery schedules, receipt, storage, delivery, assembly, and installation of all medical and other equipment and furnishings acquired for facilities being constructed or renovated. The Equipment Planner must be able to coordinate with Project Managers, Contractors, Supply Chain Management, manufacturers/vendors, and others to troubleshoot bottlenecks and resolve problems encountered at each stage of the coordination process.
