Medical Director, Adult Community Services And Academic Affiliations (Psychiatrist 2)

The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a Medical Director, Adult Community Services and Academic Affiliations (Psychiatrist 2) in the Office of the Chief Medical Officer (OCMO). OCMO provides clinical leadership and strategic direction for the agency in policy, program development, program evaluation, and research. The areas of work and focus of OCMO and its staff are dependent on the priorities of the Governor, the Commissioner, and the Chief Medical Officer.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Medical Director will support communication and collaboration with OMH Program Leadership (Adult, Children, Forensic, Nursing, Health Services, Planning, Quality, etc.), OMH operated Psychiatric Centers (PCs), OMH Field Offices, other State agencies (DOH, OASAS, OPWDD, OCM, etc.), and academic medical centers across the state, to pr...
