_SUMMARY_
Hennepin Healthcare has several openings for*Medical Center Protection Officers*in our Security department. This full-time position will work nights and every other weekend. Starting base pay is $29.14 an hour but can vary based on previous experience. There is also evening, night, and weekend shift differentials.
Under general supervision, performs work of routine difficulty in maintaining the safety and security of Medical Center facilities.
_RESPONSIBILITIES_
* Inspects all buildings and grounds, as directed, to ensure that buildings are secure
* Maintains observation of areas following organized activities to keep records of any damage to property
* Notes and reports pertinent information concerning security control during the course of building and
* grounds inspection to supervisory staff
* Responds to requests for assistance in dealing with visitor and patient problems
* May assist in restraining agitated individuals or patients
