Position Overview
A specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice in Midstream, Pretoria is seeking to recruit an experienced Medical Billing Administrator. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and capable of managing billing processes, reconciliations, authorisations, and related administrative functions within a fastβpaced private practice environment.
Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Perform accurate medical aid billing using GoodX or similar medical software
- Maintain billing sheets and adjust procedure and consumable codes where required
- Update patient information on the practice management system
- Bill surgeries and submit claims to medical aids
- Manage reconciliations, billing queries, and follow up to resolution
- Coordinate assistant fees and manage network agreements with medical aids
- Process Workers' Compensation accounts and supporting documentation
