**Type:** 3 + months, with potential for extension

**Pay Range:** $22 to $24/hr

**Location:** Lafayette, LA 70506; may be needed for coverage in Baton Rouge

**Schedule:** Mon-Thurs 7:45 am- 4:45 pm; Fri 8 am-2:30 pm

**Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:**

· Positions in this function assist in the care of the patient by following through on Provider orders for treatments. Individuals may be responsible for taking the patients vital signs, conducting blood draws or take x-rays as certified.

· May also be responsible for overseeing and participating in day to day clinical care of patients.

· Employees are involved in direct patient care
