Position Overview
Responsibilities - Examine and test engines to identify problems (visual checks, power checks, scan‑tool diagnostics, listening for unusual noise, etc.).
- Identify issues with the fuel, ignition, cooling, lubrication, exhaust, air intake, and engine mounting/suspension systems.
- For a thorough examination and measurement, disassemble engines or their parts (cylinder head, pistons, crankshaft, timing system).
- Reassemble and calibrate the engine in accordance with manuals and specifications after repairing or replacing worn‑out and defective parts.
- Carry out routine maintenance, such as tune‑ups, belt changes, valve clearance adjustments, oil and filter changes, and spark plug replacements.
- After repair, run the engine (idle and load tests), assess performance, and adjust for
