Overview

Mechanical Technician is responsible to provide technical support to the day shift personnel, ensuring maximum plant availability, efficiency, quality and reliability maintained. Perform root cause failure analysis and investigate the production and quality-related issues. The incumbent will be required to lead projects for both improvements and new developments in the plant. During shutdown periods he/she will be involved with shut planning and supervision. The incumbent may periodically act in the position of section Engineer to gain experience with management and working with team managers.
