Position Overview
Key Responsibilities - Lead and execute overall mechanical engineering and analysis activities for marine projects.
- Apply CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools to support design validation and performance optimization.
- Utilize programming skills (Excel, MATLAB, Python, C/C++) for engineering calculations, simulations, and data analysis.
- Perform advanced data analysis to support decision-making and improve system efficiency.
- Coordinate with other engineering trades and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Work closely with the Project Lead to align engineering deliverables with project and procurement schedules.
- Prepare and review equipment technical specifications in line with owner’s contractual requirements, classification bodies, and relevant authorities.
