SUMMARY


+ Perform, direct, and coordinate activities involved in design, analysis, fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


+ Review customer statement of work (SOW) documents, specifications, and manuals to ensure all requirements are met or exceeded for projects involving new product design, hardware modification, and engineering analyses.

+ Design components of mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, pneumatic, or heat transfer systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and structures.

+ Prepare or direct preparation of product or system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.

+ Perform engineering analyses of components and systems using finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), classical hand calculations, and other methods.
