Mechanical Drafter 

Job Summary: 

The Mechanical Drafter will support engineers in the creation, revision, and release of mechanical drawings within a multi-functional product development environment focused on new aircraft design. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional project personnel to ensure accurate documentation, configuration control, and design integrity throughout the development lifecycle. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 
+ Create, revise, and review engineering drawings 
+ Own and manage top-level assemblies 
+ Audit sub-assemblies to ensure overall system performance is maintained 
+ Develop and maintain drawing trees and structured documentation 
+ Advise team members on best practices related to: 
+ 3D modeling 
+ Drawing standards and documentation 
+ Reorganize and revise Technical Data Packages (TDP) to reflect “design as built” configuration in preparation for ERP implementation
