Mechanical Assembly Operator (Space Sector) - Contract / Permanent - Zurich

Our client is a centre of excellence for optical, quantum-based communications and opto-electronic observation and communication systems used in satellite and space technology.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparation of components according to specification
• Performs the mechanical integration tasks for space projects for components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, instruments and systems according to the drawings and space industry requirement
• Perform bonding activities (using SW2216, Silver glue, Masterbon)
• Documents that the integration steps are performed according to the procedure and maintains records for traceability (historical records, As-Run procedures, As-Built Components Lists)
• Supports the project team for the test campaign, particularly for handling of the hardware and mechanical activities
