Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Materials Planner role are:
Create and maintain purchase orders in line with MRP (raise new, expedite, defer, cancel) for site direct and indirect materials.Escalate through Supply Chain Management on critical delays / issues, and then final escalation through Procurement.Define SKUs as ABC and calculate appropriate safety stock levels (considering SLOB / NWC / warehouse space).Control inventory levels (management of SLOB, extension of shelf life etc...
