A utilities client in the Houston area is looking for a Materials Management Specialist to join their team. This team supports the electric organization at the client and is responsible for all materials management for low to medium voltage equipment. The Materials Management Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of companywide supply chain inventory strategies for assigned commodities, consistent with Corporate and Departmental policies and procedures. They lead all aspects of planning, monitoring and delivery of inventory material utilized in the Supply Chain; monitor material usage, future requirements, and key supplier relationships in conjunction with Procurement; is aware of market and industry trends/conditions, market pricing, quality and delivery requirements, and other factors in the performance of duties.
