**Job Description:**

**SUMMARY**

Responsible for supplying raw materials and supplies to production lines using very methods and tools.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Follows all company safety rules and policies.
+ Orders and releases raw materials.
+ Liaises between production and purchasing.
+ Conducts inventory and cycle counts and investigations.
+ Reads work orders, production schedules or follows visual and oral instructions to determine materials to be moved, what parts are to be retrieved from receiving and where on the production line to position the specific parts for use by production employees.
+ Knows, or can learn, manufacturing processes, receiving and production floor parts inventory procedures.
+ Owns the kanban replenishment process, including maintenance of kanban bins/locations, visual parts, setup, and proper replenishment requests.
