Duties and Responsibilities:
● Provides direction and guidance to all units in the Marketing group and Pre-Sales group and monitors the budgets ensuring the effective / efficient use of Advertising / Media / Events & Sponsorships / Products / PR budgets.
● Monitors performance of direct reports against agreed list of deliverables and provides timely feedback and guidance.
● Monitors competitive activity and formulates necessary initiatives to counter competition.
● Reviews product or brand and identifies opportunities for growth or innovation.
● Oversees Advertising & Promotions group:
○ reviews advertising and media effectiveness
○ ensures the consistent communication of the brand across all customer contact points
○ formulates strategies and guidelines that will allow for more focused execution of advertising / media placements
○ evaluates initiatives to see effectiveness
