Initiating and placing news of the hotel and hotel employees in the local media that will add to the awareness and prestige of the hotel.
Act as a liaison between the hotel and the press to answer all media inquiries.
To closely monitor external opinions of the hotel and to feedback such information to the Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager and recommend the appropriate actions to be taken.
Coordinate media familiarization visits for all departments concerned, liaising with relevant operational staff.
Monitor daily media - both local and overseas - and ensure that all clipping files are maintained accordingly.
