The Marine Mammal Specialist II is responsible for the daily husbandry, health, training, and welfare of the marine mammals in the Singapore Oceanarium and conducting guest programmes.

Responsibilities:

Animal Husbandry:

• Dolphin care and husbandry, including feeding, handling, observation, enrichment, conditioning and training.
• Support veterinary procedures.
• Handle data recording and reports.
• Maintain cleanliness of dolphin habitats.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of workplace, tools and equipment.

Guest Programmes:

• Conduct guest interaction programmes.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Life Sciences, Psychology or equivalent.
• Possess SCUBA certification (Open Water Dive and above).
• Candidates with no relevant experience or scuba certification, but willing to obtain certification may also apply. ...
