An Advanced Marine Engineer supporting deepwater assets is responsible for the design, analysis, and lifecycle support of floating offshore structures and associated marine systems. This includes ensuring the structural integrity and operational reliability of floating production units (FPUs), tension leg platforms (TLPs), and other deepwater facilities. A key focus is on mooring systems, where the engineer evaluates performance under dynamic environmental conditions, supports installation and inspection campaigns, and ensures compliance with industry codes and regulatory standards.
