Position Overview
Job Description - Create accurate 2D drawings of ship hulls, piping systems, structural elements, electrical layouts, and mechanical systems.
- Interpret and convert concepts, sketches, and engineering specifications into working technical drawings.
- Work with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve design and documentation issues.
- Update and revise drawings based on engineering changes, field adjustments, or client feedback.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards
- Assist in developing fabrication, installation, and assembly instructions for production teams.
- Maintain organized drawing records and file management systems.
Requirements - Associate degree, diploma, or certificate in drafting, marine technology, naval architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD platforms.
