The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager role are as follows:
Create, validate and establish the manufacturing controls for the detailed operations within the machining processes
Provide fixtures and process instructions which deliver solutions within agreed timescales and to an agreed cost
Identify and eliminate, within the documented method, all potential sources of non-conformance utilising PFMEA risk mitigation, yield analysis, process surveillance and lean engineering
Apply Lean Six Sigma principals and methods to achieve world class manufacturing capability
