This position reports to the Production Manager and is responsible to provide support to the machine shop and subcontract vendors on complex machining methods for the Company. Technical support may involve design tooling, fixtures, and machining methods for complex features and new product qualifications. The Manufacturing engineer is responsible to lead acquisition and implementation of latest technology (machines) to improve capability and efficiency.

• Evaluation of complex machine drawings for manufacturing
• Propose and implement tooling & fixtures for machining of complex features
• Support Manufacturing team on new product qualifications and ensure manufacturing is achieving most optimized and competitive hours
• He or she must have strong knowledge on CNC machining process with strong understanding and capability to design fixture or use on best tooling to achieve optimized and competitive machining capability
