We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize programs for progressive machining operations. This role involves working hands-on to enhance current processes while introducing new fixturing and tooling concepts.
Responsibilities

+ Program CNC machines, including vertical and horizontal lathes and mills.

+ Estimate potential machining projects from prints and specifications.

+ Create fixture designs and tooling lists for upcoming projects.

+ Mount and secure tooling and holding fixtures, set stops, and calibrate fixtures to appropriate reference points, with a comprehensive understanding of Renishaw probing.

+ Manually cycle through operation sequences to check fixtures, work positions, tooling, clearance, and speed/feeds through the first piece approval process.

+ Develop and maintain setup checklists and instructions for operators.
