Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Manual Machinist 2 with our client in Everett, Washington.
Job Responsibilities: Uses metrics to define standards for productivity, quality, and cost. Incumbent is responsible for meeting all defined standards The Manual Machinist 2 is expert on any one of the core machines, including but not limited to: Mill Lathe Hone Swage Centerless Grinding Thread Roll Hydraulic Press Carbon Fiber The Manual Machinist 2 is responsible for mastery of relevant Manual Machinist 1 Essential Functions Responsible for training new team members Actively suggest ideas for process improvements and cost savings (improve time, reduce waste, etc.) Follow all environmental health and safety policies and procedures, models safe work practices Responsible for contributing to and supporting a positive and respectful workplace environment.
