Har El, the North Shore Centre for Jewish Life, is dedicated to fostering a progressive Jewish spiritual and cultural identity by creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space for all. As an egalitarian synagogue that is a part of the Conservative movement, we emphasize the equal participation of all members, regardless of gender, and are committed to promoting acceptance, open‑mindedness, and inclusion.

Serving the Jewish community of West and North Vancouver, as well as the wider Jewish population of the Lower Mainland, Har El is a growing and vibrant community where individuals can connect in meaningful ways.
