Leading a team that executes the professional component with high quality and efficiency. Partners with hospital and practice operations leads to drive the overall operations of a hospital pathology practice. Shared responsibilities include the services and service levels provided to patients, the working environment of its employees, and the practice's overall financial performance. Position requires close collaboration with leaders and physicians within the Division and across other lines of the Company's business. With operations leadership the Managing Director of Pathology develops and implements sound policies to improve performance, methods, and quality of medical services provided by the practice.
