What does Manager Tax Accounting & Assurance do?
Tax Accounting and Compliance:
· Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting and reporting in accordance with IFRS, maintaining the highest standards of technical accuracy and compliance.
· Lead the preparation and review of tax reporting packages to VEON Group and local stakeholders
· Lead the preparation and review of tax provisions and deferred tax calculations
· Monitor and perform quarterly Effective Tax Rate (ETR) reconciliations, and prepare supporting schedules for group reporting purposes. · Coordinate tax closing activities with Finance, External Reporting, FP&A, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
