The Manager, Talent Development is responsible for strategic oversight over large training programs or portfolios. This role sets the direction and vision of the HR Talent Development department, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall goals and strategy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage overall training strategy aligned with company goals.
Forecast/plan for future training needs. Anticipate growth areas.
Oversee multiple programs: design, delivery, evaluation across departments.
Lead or mentor other training leaders, specialists.
Identify/assess training needs; perform gap analysis.
Design, deploy, monitor/evaluate training programs: workshops, e-learning, orientation, etc.
Manage budget for training, select vendors, maintain materials; ensure training initiatives deliver ROI.
