**Job Description :**

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job functions as administrative liaison between staff, patients, physicians, families, other hospital departments, and outside agencies.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Facilitates the patient flow process while ensuring quality patient care in a cost effective manner. (25%)
+ Assists in human resource activities such as interviews, evaluations, disciplines. (10%)
+ Directs patient care activities including quality/performance initiatives and proper staff assignments. (25%)
+ Performs the job duties of the staff RN. (20%)
+ Establishes, monitors and adheres to annual operating budget. (10%)
+ Maintains consistent readiness and ensures department compliance for regulatory agencies. (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS:
