Job Description

The Bureau of Children, Youth, Families, and Developmental Disabilities (CYF-DD) within the Division of Mental Hygiene is responsible for the planning, funding and oversight of much of New York City's comprehensive network of child and adolescent community mental health services, as well as services for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. CYF-DD relies on research and surveillance to guide its decisions around policy development, service planning, implementation and evaluation and incorporates a health equity lens into its work. CYF-DD oversees a portfolio of over 100 programs and supports a family-driven, individualized and strength-based approach to care.

The Office of Programs oversees the management of contracts providing mental health services to children, youth, and families and monitors programs through data analysis , site visits and provides technical assistance to providers to improve program quality. The portfol...
