Position Overview
What the role is:
You serve as the primary liaison between National Servicemen (NSmen) and the National Service (NS) management system, ensuring optimal human resource management and administrative support for NS units under your purview.
What you will be working on: - Act as the NS Relations Officer for assigned Brigade on all NS-related matters to ensure timely and effective follow-up with relevant agencies
- Oversee optimal employment and deployment of NSmen through identifying staffing shortfalls and projecting future requirements
- Manage NS succession planning, development, training and engagement programmes for NSmen
- Provide contextualised advice to NS units and NSmen on relevant policies governing NS administration
- Coordinate with relevant agencies to sustain and improve the NS experience
- Oversee multiple ongoing case files and mediate deviation cases
