Job Summary:


The primary function of the Manager of Medical Social Work Services is to oversee the daily operations of the Care Management Social Work Department. Assists the Care Management leadership to implement the strategic plan, and in the development of the Care Management program, by driving advancements and innovations in transitions of care. Mentor, supervise and evaluate a team of social workers and other assigned staff. Collaborate with multiple departments and community stakeholders. Regularly monitor and assess operations. Serves as liaison between Maui Health System and community to integrate services, coordinate care for clients, and enhance working relationships through public relations activities.
