**Position Overview:**

Manages and provides operational leadership for inpatient and/or outpatient laboratory services, which may include one or more teams providing service in support of patient care. Plans and organizes 24/7 operations, acquiring and deploying resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of laboratory services consistent with applicable laws, standards and regulations. Develops and administers protocols, procedures and practices, ensuring compliance with department, affiliate, operating unit, system standards, and applicable requirements of external agencies.
