Job Purpose
To lead and manage maintenance work to ensure work quality and commuter safety which includes planning, executing and management reporting of corrective and preventive work.
Responsibilities
Ensure that the track system is safe for train operations by implementing an effective & efficient maintenance strategy integrating with the rail business Codes of Practice. Provide technical advice and engineering studies support to the line maintenance activities on improvement works through innovation and leveraging on new technology. Ensure that expenditures are tracked and monitored so that they are within allocated financial budgets for both Capital & Operating accounts.
