Independently provides excellent patient care in accordance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and American College of Radiology. Operates mammography equipment and performs procedures in accordance to department policies and procedures. Operates within the Standards of Ethics of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and the Clinical Practice Standards established by the American Society of Radiologic Technologist. Assist other areas and shifts as needed.

Education

Satisfactory completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.

Licensure/Certification

Valid registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in mammography or meet MQSA quality standards (MQSA Sec 900.12 Quality standard (a) (2).
